Apache has been hanging and been giving this error:
PHP Warning: Unknown(): Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php4/20020429/gd.so'
I actually don't know what gd.so does, but found that others have had a similar problem, and a solution is explained here. But duh-brain me, I didn't have Debian's php4-gd installed. I've installed it. Now it remains to be seen whether the error recurs.
